Kellers'Institute of Research &Rehabilitation for the disabled children is
run by a voluntary organization registered in the name of "Helen Kellers'
school for the deaf". | |
| The
school was started with 10 deaf children on 27th June 1984,on the occasion of
105th Birthday of " Helen Keller"a lady of success in life by over coming
her multiple handicaps (i.e.both deafness and blindness). Now there are 525 deaf
children in two regular Special Schools catering education from pre-school to
University Education both in Telugu and English Media.These two special schools
are recognised by the state government.We have two centers,one is situated at
Ramakrishnapuram Secunderabad covering eight districts of Telangana in Andhra
pradesh. | | |
