Of The InstituteAccording
to WHO(World Health Organization) 11% of the total population is disabled,of which
approximately 3.6% people are suffering from speech and hearing problems.But the
services available for this special group of people is negligible and there is
a scarcity of professionals.As Per the Rehabilitation Council of INDIA(RCI) there
is a need for 4500 speech & Audiology professionals & 10,000 special educators
(Special teachers) in India.More Over,there is a need for providing higher education
to the deaf to have Socio-Economic equalization.This emerging need,in the field
of Education & Rehabilitation for the children with differentially abled,forced
us to start this Institute with the facility of Research & Rehabilitation
for the disabled children.
HOSTEL
FEE & RULES :
The Total hostel fee for one year is Rs. 15,000/(Payable in
two equal installments,of RS.7,500/- each).There will be
rules and regulations to be followed by the students.If
any
student is found disobeying the rules,he/she shall be sent
out without prior notice.Both parents and student have to
signed on the hostel declaration form.
GOVT.SCHOLARSHIP :
SC.,ST,& B.C students are eligible to apply for scholarship.
They have to submit the Income Certificate & Ration Card
in
original,issued by M.R.O.Of respective Mandal to submit the
same to the stateGovt.
authority.
EXAMINATION
FEE : Students have to pay the examination
and other fees
stipulated by the Osmania University from time to time.
TEACHING STAFF
: We have qualified teaching faculty with rich experience in
the field of Education & Rehabilitation.
SPORTS &
CULTURAL
ACTIVITY : We encourage the students to involve in sports &
cultural activities.
